Once again paying respect to Kevin Durant’s beloved late aunt while supporting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the Nike KD 9 “Aunt Pearl” is ready to release with a launch date set for Saturday, January 28th.
While past “Aunt Pearl” KD sneaker releases have relied primarily on pink tones and brighter color schemes, the KD 9 gets a darker makeover with vibrant pops of pink accenting the Swoosh branding, visible Nike Zoom Air cushioning and sock-like Flyknit forefoot. Kay Yow Cancer Fund details are also included on the heel, sockliner and sides to complete the collaborative design, with a message on the inside that reads – “When Life Kicks You, Let it Kick You Forward”.
The Nike KD 9 “Aunt Pearl” will be available starting Jan.28 at Nike.com.
