Like clockwork, Nike keeps cranking out the new storied color themes in Kevin Durant’s sixth signature shoe with the arrival of the Nike KD VI “Precision Timing”. Like the intricate craftsmanship of a wristwatch, as well as KD’s game, fine details are everything. This latest colorway in the Nike KD VI looks to timepieces for inspiration with a reflective upper that mimics radial machining lines, with micro machining marks filling out the Swoosh and KD logo.
Metallic silver and gold pops play off the clockwork theme with mint green accents to cool things off. Nike designer Leo Chang even hid the numbers ’35’ and ‘6’ inside the tongue’s secret logo to further enhance the intricate styling, honoring his jersey number and sixth signature sneaker.
Check out the Nike Inside Look video featuring Kevin Durant below as he goes into more detail on the shoe’s inspiration, before copping this clockwork inspired sneaker when it drops in limited quantities on December 7th at select retail locations including Footlocker.
