After going high with the Nike Kobe 9 Elite, the Black Mamba’s ninth signature shoe is set to drop in a new low-profile version as well. Switching things up from Flyknit to Engineered Mesh, the Nike Kobe 9 EM is ready to release in this University Gold/Black-Laser Crimson colorway for those who’ve been waiting on a low-cut option in Kobe’s newest signature kicks. The bright color combination has picked up a “Bruce Lee” nickname in the days leading up to the launch due to its resemblance to an outfit worn by the martial arts master in the Game of Death, along with Kobe’s signature on the side and comfy Lunarlon cushioning in the midsole.
