Inspired by the Air Jordan 1 and based on the concept of anti-gravity, the Air Jordan 31 has been officially unveiled in this debut “Banned” colorway.
Fusing classic cues from the Air Jordan 1 with Jordan Brand’s modern technology, the Air Jordan XXXI keeps it pure, minimal and raw with an upper that blends leather and Flyweave for a first-of-its-kind design. The silhouette also incorporates OG elements like the Air Jordan “Wings” logo, as well as a subtle Swoosh, marking the first time that both Nike and Jordan logos appear side-by-side on a shoe.
Bringing it back to the “Banned” story that’s synonymous with the Air Jordan 1, the XXXI will launch in this classic black, red and white colorway in homage to the original Air Jordan shoe, with “BANNED” stamped on the outsole in reference to the NBA’s banishment of MJ’s bold red and black sneakers from back in the day.
