Back in OG form, the Nike Air Max BW has returned for Spring 2016 in the original Black, White and Persian Violet colorway that was made popular in 1991.
One of Tinker Hatfield’s prized creations, the Nike Air Max BW went big on the visible air back in the day by taking the Nike Air Max 90’s midsole and enlarging the window on the Nike Air-Sole unit (hence the BW or “Big Window” style name). Worn by runners, rave scene fans, R&B/Hip-Hop artists and street style aficionados in the US and Europe during its early 90s debut, the Nike Air Max BW has been brought back from the archives by Nike Sportswear in modern times, while revisiting the original color scheme that’s equally as classic today.
